Gumacologist

Bryce is in his 3rd week of OBGYN.  This is the rotation he was the least looking forward to.  I think now that he is half way into it, he would say that it isn't as bad as he thought.  I still don't think he will be attempting an OBGYN residency in this lifetime.  Some of his highlights include scrubbing in on a          C-section, and delivering his first baby.  Some lowlights are... better left off of the WWW.  I WILL say that the title of this post is a direct reference to one of his patients.  She was a regular to her "Gumacologist." 3 more weeks, and next up is Pediatrics!! (My personal fave!)  I had a picture of Bryce in his scrubs, but I'm not sure which camera I took it with.

Ella, Brooks and I made a trip out to Philadelphia in mid August to go to what is probably the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to.  I have a LOT of cousins, and my favorite one, Meaghann, got married.  It was such a fun trip, and sometimes I forget how lucky I am to have such a fun and BIG family.

Here is the beautiful couple, Meg and Steve!!
(A sort of goofy picture, but a good display of their awesome personalities, and the vibe at the wedding!!)

Here we are, sans Bryce, before the wedding.  I think we clean up pretty good.

Ella looking so sweet, pre-wedding

And of course, Brooks looking dapper in his suit.  He was growing out his faux hawk for quite some time for the occasion.

In other news, Ella is quite the socialite these days.  On top of the pre-k excitement, she also has a fun and cute little group of friends.  They are all in dance together, go to church together, and have play dates quite often.  We are planning a pajama movie night at our house next weekend for these little gals!

This was taken at Emma Grace's Princess birthday party.  Aren't they cute??

Also, I recently took El and Brooks to the doc to have a once over, and Ella is in the 99th percentile for height/weight.  She is the size of an average 6 year old.  Brooks?  Oh, he is in the 10th percentile for weight, and 50th for height.

Apparently it is exhausting having all these places to be and people to see.
