My parents made their way out to visit us last week! We didn't tell Ella that they were coming, and let her be surprised!! To say she was excited is an understatement. Brooks was very excited too, which caught me a little off guard. Usually he is more cautious, and it certainly took him a little longer to warm back up to them in Phily. He ran right to them, and continued to go back and forth between them, hugging them. So endearing.
We kept real busy while they were here. We went to the Coca Cola factory downtown, and of course we went to Stone Mountain. We showed them around our little town that we live in, and just enjoyed being together again!
The Coke factory was a blast, and we especially LOVED trying all the coke products that are served from all over the world! Some of them were delicious, and some were disgusting. Ella's favorite was from Costa Rica, and everyone agreed that the worst was the one from Italy that tasted like Robitussin.
The BEST (of course) was the Coke on tap that was perfect temperature, and perfectly carbonated. MMMmmmmmmmmmm, I can't wait to go back!
Stone Mountain is ALWAYS fun, and it was fun to enjoy it with my parents! My mom's favorite was the lazer show, and my dad liked the Sky Hike.
Ever since they left, Brooks has been looking for them. He looks in the room where they slept, and if I ask him "Where is Nana and Papa?" He shrugs his shoulders as if to say, "I don't know"
We hope they can come again soon!
